Keep Or Sweep? Nelly – She Got Me
Nelly has crept back onto the music scene with a new track called She Got Me. This will be off his 6th studio album that is self titled Nelly, and was produced by JR Rotem. By listening to it, you can tell the track has been sampled from the 1987 track (If you know the track please let me know) Lets Start Over from former Village People Member Miles Jaye. Honestly to me this song sounds like 80’s r&b meets country… Nelly’s accent is so strong on it… that it can go only so far with me. But you may think different. Vote and let us know whether we should keep or sweep the track.

The track he samples is Miles Jaye’s “Let’s Start Love Over” which is an awesome song.
So Nelly get points for picking such a great song to sample but the actual song is a big let down. Is there any lyrics all I hear is the chorus and a hook it can’t be finished. I hope it is not finished.
